The first UkeFest!
We had so much fun at the ukulele workshop that the time passed too quickly, we could have spent a couple of hours creating, and that was a reaffirmation of how music connects us.
With NoStress Ukestra, we awakened the nostalgia of the audience, with popular styles from the sixties and eighties. At the open mic, Janez Ivačič delighted us with the Carpenters and Top of the World, and stroked our ears with One song of Valdo Kreslin.
Young Ada Lovenjak aka. Ukulada took us to the heights with her dexterous fingers on the ukulele that we actually smelled like teenage spirit and the guitars were crying. And to top off the evening, Hatter Matter from Beograd (Luna Škopelja Milan Veselinovič) took us through the rabbit hole into a journey of inner worlds with goosebumps.
It was a very cold day, but in the heart it was warm.
